vakit geçirme koltuğu ve sehpa

kitap okumak, müzik dinlemek, birşeyler seyretmek için kabin. dönen top rahatlık sağlıyor, mavi ekran film, dizi izlemek için. oturmayınca da yukarı dönüp, mavi ekran içeri girip masa oluyor. animasyonunu bulamadım, bulursam koyarım.

role of a professional architect

Change of the world in terms of consumption is happening rapidly, which strongly effects recent economic, political and social areas globally. Boundaries are dissolving in almost every area and negotiation of personal and social boundaries leads to new contexts in psychological and philosophical area. Modern man of the twentieth century created the way it is used to be, created a world of what something has to be; however it is now turning to an unknown man/woman in a non-created personally involved world. This refers to a junk of information and the things that information brings along with it. If we claim that architectural knowledge deals with social, economical and political contexts, an individual designer has a lot to mess with in this junk world.

As a professional, realizing the content of today's situation is a must for an architect. Role of the architect is not always seem as the decision maker, but as a catalyst of what forms design from some aspects. When it comes to design production, information junk causes an enlarged field of interdisciplinary study. This includes academic environment to get in relation with the professional environment.

As economic changes happen rapidly, academic research becomes the most important way out for professional environment. Reduce of costs, inventing new materials, calculating appropriate areas with easier techniques and tools, shows the academic relation of economic change with professional world. As well as socio-cultural changes happen very often, researches about public affairs and sociologist approaches helps architects to see the possible changes of public and social situation and design according to these changes.

I do situate myself as a student of contemporary life. An architect could express experiments depending on the new social/economic/politic/... contexts. If we act as there would be no real knowledge and go over empirical situations, we would create solutions for every changing circumstance.

What I have written in 200, is that

"as things seem chaotic in homeland, it is different than it seems. as we used to here, it has an order inside. but things starts to become different when it comes to abroad. being a 'foreigner' gives you your freedom and your own chaotic experience.
when it comes to homeland, things again become organised and nearly tragic when you still have 'their' rules you must obey to. it was your own when you were a 'foreigner'". I think this shows about the importance of being a foreigner in a possible unpredicted situation. Creating your own rules always helps to solve the problematics of design in a variety of ways.
If an architect would situate itself on the ongoing circumstances over some aspects of contexts like politics, economic situations or socio-cultural and so on, he/she can better position itself for the day's architecture and educate himself/herself better for an unpredicted future.
